yugioh hasnt "fallen", its literally getting bigger by the day. also like a week before go rush even aired they said itll be a bunch of a tutorials in the beginning for people who have 0 knowledge on rush duels at ALL. just because you know what field spells and other stuff are doesnt mean the random viewer whos never seen this or even played yugioh before knows this.

Bro, what are you on about? If the viewers want to learn the game, they would either watch season 1 (which was EPIC), either learn online, OR play Duel Links, which has a comprehensive tutorial! Why skip the very first season of Yugioh or even the GX version, where they have an entire ACADEMY theme for duelling???

Hoshimiya Eiji is right! They not only killed the quality of this anime, they killed its essence! What made it truly special - its SERIOUSNESS! The characters in the first versions of Yugioh were determined, cool looking and very dedicated to duelling! The plot was dark and amazing with the whole Shadow Game routine, Legendary Duellists, God Cards, etc.

This series and the previous ones are PATHETIC!!! Its made to look too colourful and goofy; The duels are only for children, especially little girls; these new series force themselves to promote the female characters a bit too much; and the card designs and archetypes that are now invented look ridiculous!!! For someone like me, whose been in tournaments with this game and enjoyed building decks, its an insult! Reason I am now still watching it is bcs the character Zwijo caught my interest a little, but if he proves to be another lame character, I'M DROPPING THIS SHIT!

Characters also still duel to solve problems like in any other ygo show.

Even the first damn Yugioh (Dm) did not explain things this much since they did not treat their audience as If they are brainless idiots who can't understand shit. I literally started to watch Yugioh as a grade schooler and I did not need 8 episodes of tutorial to explain every little thing to me. Just use one or two episode HECK USE THREE If needed and explain needed parts in quick session but here we have this utter shit of a show that is still trying to explain everything even after 8 episodes because they know that only brainless losers would actually like this pitiful kid show so they would need this.

Yep you sure are since Duel links has been one of Konami's biggest success in a long time getting tons of new players and the fact that they are giving some the cards new anime related projects is a pretty good sign all you have to do is really look into the Japanese side of things 1st then, since for a while Duel master had taken over Yugioh. Remember when duels weren't so repetitive and could blow your mind?

I miss the days before Sevens when you couldn't predict the result of a duel based on who had 100 life left. Vrains was pretty bad with it too but Sevens really overused the trope to the extent that there were more reversal finishes than duels ending with somebody just dealing enough damage to finish an opponent (at least it felt that way and I am certainly not going back to check every duel from both shows to confirm this information). Although at leas there it was just bad writing rather than bad writing accompanying more than 5 episodes of basic tutorial that's so basic other shows could cover it all in just one episode.

Well Vrains had a few unpredictable duels. But at least their duels was well written. I was rewatching Spectre vs Lightning the other day. And I doubt we'll get duels like that in a Yugioh show produced by Bridge.

One of my main problems with Sevens and Go Rush is rush duels. They are nothing more than summoning your monsters and attacking your opponents monsters. Then your opponent gets to do the same thing on your turn. And then you do the same thing on your turn. Its just so repetitive and its getting really boring really fast. As for the tutorials, they are getting annoying. Sevens had one tutorial if I'm not mistaken. And that's what they could have done here in Go Rush. But I guess we are all bunch of seven year olds who've never seen a rush duel before

Says the one who has no originality But yes I've seen that video. The people had trouble at first, because duels could be taken seriously at the time. And they were required to write well written duels-something you'll never see in a "yugioh" anime produced by Bridge. At least back then they didn't have to give us so many tutorial based duels and treated us like seven year olds like they do now.

And yes they are aiming for a younger audience. But that doesn't mean we need so many tutorial based duels. Nor did they have to show someone how to open a pack of cards
